About Kingsley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a DS/Libero my gameplay style is generally focused on my top-tier ball control and consistent serve receive, ensuring that our offense always has an excellent first touch. I focus on smart plays, consistent communication in back row, and reading the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe that I am a very reliable, mentally tough person. I take pride in my ability to come back stronger than ever after making a mistake. I am extremely coachable, and eager to learn as much as possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have a rare genetic condition called Myotonia Congenita which causes my muscles to tense randomly and have difficulty relaxing. This has presented significant challenges throughout my athletic journey. Despite this, I am committed to managing my symptoms and doing everything I can to perform at my highest level. I never let this get in the way of my ambition to be the best athlete possible.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is more academic-focused, that also has a very strong volleyball program. I am more open to colleges that provide stability and support.
