About Xan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high energy positive player. I have grit and a strong work ethic and am very coachable. Through the love of Volleyball I am a leader on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am an introvert off the court. On the court I am a solid, loyal and strong team player. I help lift the team up in a subtle way. I have a positive mindset knowing if you dream it you can achieve it. I will always stand up for my teammates on and off the court because they are my extended family!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer a lot and received the NJHS award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

From volunteering I love helping younger kids. I am a good leader especially with anyone that is on the quieter side.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had some health issues when I was really little that I have overcome. Due to this I am very disciplined with my food choices and knowing every action has a reaction. I chose to have quality positive consequences from my daily mindset and actions.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a nice campus and a good team to bond with and create some great friendships and memories.
