Early-season stocks are rising.

We've turned the calendar to March, but we still have so many February storylines to revisit. This shortened month is jam-packed with major opportunities for club teams to climb the regional and national hierarchies. Nebraska's top squads took full advantage.

Part 1 already delved into some teams and athletes who had a strong February slate, but we're back for more in Part 2.

The foundation is laid for March milestones.

[program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Black

It's time to check back in with this retooled, revitalized [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] lineup.

[program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Black has been a frequent subject of our early regional coverage. The team has added high-profile athletes like [player_tooltip player_id='365054' first='Evelyn' last='Timmons'] and [player_tooltip player_id='521256' first='Emmalyn' last='Quinn'] to its operation, but we've also had a bevy of returning stars to discuss. Lincoln North Star junior [player_tooltip player_id='458146' first='Alex' last='Kroll'] leads a precise, up-tempo offense that allows [player_tooltip player_id='521271' first='Emery' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='807924' first='Elsie' last='Schmidt'] to thrive on the pins.

This Star City crew started the year strong, culminating in its best volleyball yet at the ASICS Presidents' Day Classic. 17 Black opened its Omaha tenure on a seven-match win streak and did not drop a set along the way. That'll draw some attention.

Club Legacy 16 Alpha

We're sticking with the Club Legacy 16s.

Part 1 covered Club Legacy 16 Bravo's bracket climb at the ASICS Presidents' Day Classic, but its 16 Alpha counterparts weren't far behind. Of course, this year's 16 Alpha group entered 2026 with high expectations after earning a GJNC berth through the Show Me Qualifier. The repeat bid is underway.

16 Alpha soared to a 6-1 overall record at the ASICS Presidents' Day Classic and leaned on its familiar cast of Omaha-area stars. [player_tooltip player_id='774684' first='Madyson' last='Jacobson'] has embraced her role as a setter-attacker who can fill every corner of the stat sheet. Meanwhile, [player_tooltip player_id='575239' first='Nora' last='Morgan']'s six-rotation prowess gives 16 Alpha an upgrade in every phase and every rotation. [player_tooltip player_id='774689' first='Josie' last='D'Agosto'], [player_tooltip player_id='774690' first='Emersyn' last='Buechler'], and [player_tooltip player_id='774692' first='Lucy' last='Stockdale'] are among the many other Club Legacy standouts gaining ground in the Class of 2028.

Premier Nebraska 16 Red

Team cohesion is already building.

Like some of the other teams discussed here, Premier Nebraska 16 Red rolled out several new contributors for 2026. [player_tooltip player_id='826902' first='Emery' last='Taylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='770228' first='Trinity' last='Rocha'] have made an immediate splash at the net. Meanwhile, [player_tooltip player_id='730564' first='Reese' last='Timmerman'] provides a dramatic influx of defensive production that allows the 16 Red offense to operate.

Chemistry-building opportunities are vital for teams like this. 16 Red proved its progress with a 7-1 record at the ASICS Presidents' Day Classic, and this group's ceiling will keep rising. That's a scary thought for the rest of the Great Plains Region.

[program_tooltip program_id='428716' first='Nebraska' last='Jrs'] 15 Gray

Perfection is pretty good.

The ASICS Presidents' Day Classic brought a large list of competitors to the 15 Select division, but [program_tooltip program_id='428716' first='Nebraska' last='Jrs'] 15 Gray stood above the rest. This emergent team did not drop a single set en route to a division title and a 9-0 overall record.

So, we have some 2029 watch list additions to come from 15 Gray. Parker Kruse, Avery Theis, and [player_tooltip player_id='932995' first='Emma' last='Byrd'] were particularly impressive during the holiday weekend.

South Central NE 15 Black

The small-town juggernaut is back at it again.

South Central NE keeps leaping above the bars it sets for itself. This year's 18 Black team set the standard, and teams down the age ladder have followed suit. Perhaps the newest 15 Black lineup can keep the good times rolling.

15 Black started its February slate with a 4-0 run at Nebraska Top Flight. More regional success followed at the Nebraska Elite Classic. Local venues have sharpened South Central NE's skills ahead of next month's critical trek to the Show Me Qualifier.

[player_tooltip player_id='932957' first='Kinlee' last='Hinton'], [player_tooltip player_id='933022' first='Atlie' last='Wiedel'], and [player_tooltip player_id='912949' first='Reese' last='Blauhorn'] are building off massive freshman outputs last fall. This core trio impressed us through February's reps, and more names are likely to emerge as the stakes rise.
