About Caitlyn
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is built on versatility and consistency. I bring strong ball control and court awareness on defense, run a smart and efficient offense when setting, and attack with a fast arm and competitive mindset when hitting. I focus on communication, effort, and doing whatever my team needs to win.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a team-driven, adaptable mindset. Whether I’m defending, setting, or hitting, I stay positive, coachable, and competitive. I take pride in being versatile and bringing steady leadership and effort in every role.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Honor Roll - 3.8 GPA Currently
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Being a multi-position player has helped me grow as a leader, communicator, and teammate. I’ve learned to adapt fast, stay coachable, and support my team in every situation. I’ve also strengthened my discipline and work ethic through training and serving my community through efforts such as an Angel Tree volunteer.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One challenge I’ve faced is being a 5'4" player in a sport where height is often emphasized. I’ve turned this into motivation by committing to extensive plyometric and strength training with a personal trainer. I’ve increased my vertical, speed, and overall athleticism, and it’s helped me excel in multiple positions.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m seeking a college that will help me grow both academically and athletically. I’m undecided on my major, but I’m interested in fields related to sports and human performance, so I’m looking for a school with strong programs in those areas.
