Hayden’s size should immediately be ignored, since her ability to cover a significant amount of ground on off-speed and tooled shots far outweighs her stature. Consistent and willing to do the dirty work, Hayden’s ability to read, react and make a settable pass happen looks natural to this author—as if she’s been like this for some time. Her teammates regularly defer to her, since she so regularly makes outstanding plays on out-of-system balls and random ricochets off of the block. Oh, and by the way, she’s solid in serve receive too, with a repeatable platform and active feet.

Hayden radiates college-level talent, and she’s only a freshman in high school. This girl can do it all! What stood out most about her game was her quickness, scrappiness, and ability to consistently deliver great out-of-system sets to either pin. Don’t be surprised if Klimowicz climbs her way to the top of the rankings in Indiana!
