How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as smart. Volleyball is not a solo sport but a team sport. When I go on the court I get the job done for not only myself but my teammates as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to put what I practice into play. I believe that everything is taught for a reason and it is your responsibility to not waste that information. If I am going to do something I will make sure to do it right.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of an all African American club called Dream Big. The club provides the assistance to maintain grades, look into colleges and high schools, and helps students to look towards the future and be successful.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I have learned to be heard. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been quiet and shy. I have learned that that trait wasn’t going to work. Especially not in sports. This has helped me to be a leader, share my ideas, and gain a sense of communication and confidence.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A couple years ago I participated in the 2022 USATF Junior Olympics. My event was shot put. I had no idea what to expect from these girls. I got scared and placed last in my group. I will always remember the feeling of walking away crying. This moment helps me to remember, that no matter what I do, I do my best no matter the environment.
