Riley Stringer Riley Stringer 5'11" | S/RS Mater Dei | 2028 State CA named Top Performer at PrepDig’s Exposure Tour in Gardena, CA.

Riley ran the offense with calm control and strong decision making. She found the hot hitters, adjusted seamlessly in transition, and consistently put her attackers in positions to score. Riley showed a great feel for the game and operated as a steady leader on the court, keeping her units organized during tournament play.

Her balance of tempo, communication, and composure made her one of the most reliable performers at the showcase.

Riley is calm on the court and brings composure to every rally. She is working on expanding her court vision and keeping tempo fast even when out of system. She reads hitters well, distributes the ball with intention, and makes adjustments to her hitters rather than expecting them to adjust to her style.

“I remain calm but still have an intensity to keep myself and my teammates focused.”

Riley wants coaches to see that she is reliable. Trustworthy in tough moments. A teammate who can pull a team through late in a set.

Her leadership comes through in how she moves the ball and how she competes. Riley may not be the loudest setter, but she is definitely one of the most consistent I have seen at finding chemistry with her hitters.

I had never seen Stringer play before, and was instantly impressed. I was shocked when I discovered she is only a sophomore as she plays at level much higher than her age. She has excellent court awareness and knows how to spread out an offense. She has precise location on her sets, can firmly push the ball out to the pins, and runs a fast tempo that kept her offense on the day powerful and unpredictable. Her accuracy, high setter IQ, and ability to run and maintain control a fast paced offense make her a setter that is going to be highly sought after come recruitment time.

Riley continued to show steady improvement throughout the club season. She moves with purpose and reads the game well, putting herself in good position to make smart decisions for her hitters. When on offense, her swing choices are thoughtful, she avoids the block, finds open space, and keeps rallies alive without forcing the play. Tstreet 15-Chandler, featuring Riley Stringer Riley Stringer 5'11" | S/RS Mater Dei | 2028 State CA , is scheduled to face MAVS 15 Elite on June 26 at 9:00 AM on Court 53.

Please officially welcome Miss Stringer to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 4^th best overall player and top setter according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays at Mira Costa High School and for the Tstreet volleyball club program.  Miss Stringer has the frame and skill set to be a phenomenal recruit from what we can see.  She is definitely putting in the work to perfect her craft and we are watching.  One aspect that truly stands out when she is setting is how straight her posture is prior to and at the point of contact with the ball.  This will keep her very deceptive to opposing blockers as they will not be able to cheat to a certain hitter, thus allowing her attackers to have one on one situations or at the very least, splits in the block.  Her hands look like identical mirror images of each other when the ball makes contact and during her release.  This is very key for her to have repeatable location to her hitters.  We think she has a solid future in the sport and we will be watching her growth very closely.  Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of earning a spot in our State Ranking List.
