Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a dedicated setter who reads the game to make quick decisions on who to set. I am able to execute various plays and am always ready to assist wherever needed. I pride myself on being a versatile player who is also strong in defense and court awareness to assist in blocks, tips and pushes as well. When I am not setting, I also like to play RS.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I love to be loud! I find that high energy is very uplifting and can change the entire mood of your team so I always try my best to be as loud as possible. I also try to boost my teammates confidence and reassure them!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am an honor roll student at my high school and involved in many high school activities. I am a part of "5 Star" which is a selected group of student who run events for underclassmen to prepare them for high school. I am also a "Titan B" to a student at the elementary school to provide a positive example and be a friend. I am part of the Student Athlete Scholars program for my outstanding grades.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am a great teammate and leader as I have been the captain of my volleyball teams and provide leadership in my high school through the "5 Star" and "Titan Buddy" programs. I have also coached a 5/6 grade volleyball team through my club for 2 sessions and absolutely love teaching the younger girls the game of volleyball.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Currently I'm taking an AP class and a college course. With my current schedule playing volleyball its difficult to keep up with classes. Especially ones with a lot of work. However, Im making sure to stay resilient and maintain my academic level.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am wanting to go to a college where I can continue my volleyball career but also go to a school that has a good psychology program. It is extremely important that I attend a college that has relatively small class sizes. I personally believe that a connection with teachers is important and I would like to continue making connections with professors in college, which isn't as easy in big lecture
