Parker Sconyers Parker Sconyers 5'2" | DS/L Pinnacle | 2030 State AZ was an absolute force in the back row and one of the most consistent defenders we watched throughout the showcase. Every time we found ourselves on her court, she was communicating with purpose, leading her defense, and making her presence felt on every rally.

Her defensive game was outstanding. Parker showcased a rock-solid platform in serve receive, delivered accurate passes, and excelled at tracking down difficult balls off blockers’ hands. She consistently turned tough defensive situations into quality offensive opportunities with her ball control and precision.

Beyond her technical skills, Parker’s energy and court awareness separated her from the pack. She played with confidence, competed on every point, and never stopped communicating. Pinnacle is getting a tremendous player, and we’re excited to watch the impact she’ll make during her high school career.

Parker really has done well this season with her game play and I think she is going to really take off with a strong nationals. If day one was any indication she should be progressing very well moving forward. First, defensively, she displayed excellent court awareness, reading hitters well and taking efficient angles to the ball. She was always in the right spot, seemed to anticipate well and always moved well to create space with her arms to pass to the target.

Parker also showed a ton of athletic ability as well and had a quick first step, strong range, and the willingness to pursue every touch that allowed her to extend rallies and create transition opportunities. On more then one occasion she was saving balls, digging balls, and just extending rallies to help Livewrire score. Overall a great day 1, and I expect to see her continue this trend the rest of the week!
