Mineer (pictured) is a true terminator on the outside. She has an explosive four-step approach, extension and finish. Her high attack point helps her hit over and around blocks. Even strong defensive specialists have a hard time digging her up when in the right position. Mineer makes great habits of tooling blocks. Mineer is equally strong on blocks with her form. She does not struggle with lefties like many do. Her versatility shows in the back row with her firm two to three-point passing. Mineer also brings great enthusiasm to the court.

Mineer gives the 17 Red team a powerful attack and a great bit of versatility. Mineer produces from all six spots on the court. Mineer makes great first touches, giving a good effort going for balls and takes solid rips from the front and back rows. Mineer angles balls away from and off blockers for big points. Mineer having a good back row attack, steady mindset and aggressive mentality are huge keys to turning into a sound all-around player.

Mineer should fit right in with this talented group. When the team needs a big kill, Mineer can take a big rip on pipe plays. She relentlessly attacks corners making solid mid-air adjustments. Mineer is good on first touches defensively. Mineer will only grow more with this team playing in the Open Division.

Mineer is looking to turn into a solid all-around player for the Valkyries this fall. Mineer attacks from all six spots on the floor, including a powerful swing on the pipe play. Mineer pounds balls to the near corner on one play then to the far one on another play. Mineer makes sound mid-air adjustments. Then on defense, she makes consistent two to three-point passes before quickly changing to offense.
