Reyes makes first touches to get the Rockets into the tough offensive rhythm using a good platform. Reyes earned the Rockets three points on aces using a great jump floating serve. Reyes said the team works on serving a good bit in practice. She noted the Rockets use a point system trying to hit various targets, which helps them be effective with serving in games.

Reyes is turning into a sound defensive specialist for the 16 Red team. Reyes made a number of sound passes as 16 Red finished 3-0 in pool play for the second straight day. Reyes said she’s learning to live up to the legacies at KIVA and Assumption, adding she’s focused on putting in the work to do her part to help out the team.
