Let's take a look at some of the teams competing for big prizes:

CIA 15 Black, Premier Division

We saw this squad excel at the KC qualifier back in April. It lost a three-setter in the American title match but proved it had a deep, talented roster. This group finished third at the Iowa regional.

It starts in the middle with [player_tooltip player_id='493984' first='Kyla' last='Ramler'], who delivered 77.0 blocks and 112 kills as a freshman last fall for Western Dubuque. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='493972' first='Tayah' last='Pollock'] handed out 867 assists as a Janesville ninth-grader last season. This team benefits from the versatility of [player_tooltip player_id='389853' first='Kennedy' last='Krecklow'] and [player_tooltip player_id='493976' first='Kylee' last='Pexa'].

CIA comes into nationals as the No. 1 team in its pool. It begins with a match against CAVC 15 Elite (VA) at 7:30 am on Monday.

Iowa Select Mizuno 15, Elite Division

It's been a successful season for Select, which did not compete at the Iowa regional this year. Select did perform well at the President's Day Classic and the Nike Mideast Qualifier in Saint Louis this season. Overall, it tested itself against a challenging schedule.

Pleasant Valley 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='490015' first='Mazie' last='Sweers'] headlines this outfit after cranking out 205 kills as a freshman last fall. Wilton's [player_tooltip player_id='490009' first='Leah' last='Caffery'] runs the show at setter, where she dished out 794 assists as a ninth-grader last season. Another Wilton sophomore-to-be, Annie Holladay, holds it down in the back row, where she produced 457 digs during the '23 prep season. [player_tooltip player_id='493971' first='Allison' last='Toft'] from Durant shines in the middle after accumulating 111.0 blocks as a freshman.

Camryn Paris from Maquoketa Valley provides Insanity with an athletic middle that produced 61.0 blocks, 97 kills and 58 digs as a freshman last season. Dubuque Hempstead's [player_tooltip player_id='749800' first='Cece' last='Freihoefer'] and Hayden Freiburger, and Emma Kromminga of Monticello, are other Iowans powering this team, which includes several players from Illinois.
