All-district setter Maddie LaFleur piled up 72 assists, a team-best 24 digs and 5.0 blocks. Freshman Elle' Hatlevig made her presence felt with a team-high 78 kills to go with 45 digs and 7.0 blocks. They responded with straight-set victories over Urbandale, Washington, Dalles Center-Grimes, Carlisle and Grinnell. They own wins against Ballard (2), Washington (2), West Des Moines Valley, Urbandale, Greene County and Mason City. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='389942' first='Katie' last='Scheckel'] was dynamite with 50 assists, 57 kills, 60 digs and 4.0 blocks. They also defeated Regina, Don Bosco and Muscatine but fell twice against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at Saturday's West Branch tournament.
