If I were to guess, Nevaeh is our first Michigan resident to attend our showcase, and she did more than just attend. Nevaeh (pronounced ne-VAY-a) has a hammer for a right shoulder, and showed out on both pins. As an uncommitted senior, she came to play from the get-go, and was hammering away on undisciplined blocks regularly. Every coach should and could use at LEAST a three-rotation hammer from the pin, and Nevaeh certainly fit that mould. Positive from the first ball and relentlessly physical throughout the showcase, Miss Plaster will be a strong addition to a pin attacking depth chart in college.

Heading back to Indiana, Lucy was a pleasant surprise for this author. I liked her willingness to try different angles depending on the variety of setters she had to work with. Never complaining and always looking for ways to score, Miss May used her size and physicality to her advantage against smaller blockers time and time again. With a tough serve and a heavy ball on attack, Lucy has also upgraded her roster standing at Circle from 16-3 last spring to 17-2 this coming spring.

A long and lean right side, Aislinn gave opposing attackers fits all day on the block, while hitting multiple angles regardless of who was setting her on Sunday. There's still a bit of development needed there---her adjustment to sets inside the pin might require a little footwork practice---but the raw talent and athleticism is there. Of course, it doesn't hurt that she's over six feet, and was one of the few non-middles that was over six feet in height. For now, her length is her strength, and her blocking ability will carry her to more collegiate attention in the near future.

I was NOT prepared for this young lady to be what she showed us yesterday. For a couple of years now, I've identified her fellow high school outside, Kentucky commit [player_tooltip player_id='494521' first='Shania' last='Rhamy'], as the only attacker for Southwood. Hali is CLEARLY another option on offense for the Knights, and showed us why. With a high jump for an attack that hits all angles, Hali hits a heavy ball over smaller blocks and off of undisciplined blocks. Despite her size, she is not a liability when blocking, and reads well against the attackers she's blocking. Once the scrimmage portion of the showcase began, we got to see what Hali's all about. Relentless, strong and terminal, Hali will make defenders think twice this fall when Southwood comes to town.

Long, lean and an obvious right side, Ava is a tall option whose defense-first mentality got our attention at the Stock Up Showcase. I felt like the setting she had to work with couldn't show off her ability to attack high, but I DID notice her ability to line up and block most outsides well once full-play started. Raw but athletic, she'll be playing for Rev's 17-1 this coming spring as their primary right side. With a little more training on footwork and arm speed, she should be tough to deal with once January comes around.

A repeat attendee to our showcases, Blaine got to REALLY show us what she's made of going against older competition in yesterday's session. High-flying and terminal, Blaine is a hammer from the left side that loves a fast offense. Bottom line---she just moves differently than most outsides her age, and that fact was proved time and time again in drills on Sunday. Blaine is a dynamic, 15-open-medal-winning outside that is already jumping over ten feet and should make some college coach happy once mid-June of 2026 comes around.

Springy and quick, Lily is a solid six-rotation outside that has all of the shots in her volleyball Roll-O-Dex (Kids, ask your parents what that is.). Quiet and unassuming, Lily just does her job, regardless of the situation, and does it well. Bloomington South hasn't had the greatest of seasons in the last couple of falls, but Miss Reinhart should be the one athlete you can build a program around because of her all-around skills.

Jaycie, making the club transfer from Summit to Boiler Juniors this coming spring, showed us exactly what the folks at Boiler Juniors saw---an attacking ability from anywhere on the court, a passing ability in any position, and an all-around ability to take in all aspects of the game and slow it down. If anything, Jaycie is the kid you need as an outlet attacker when things go bad or when you absolutely need a side out. More often than not, Miss Stockman terminated and scored points for her side. Jaycie will be a steal for a program looking for that safety net on the outside that can play all the way around.

Meredith, making the transfer from Monon Select to Circle City this coming spring, is a high-flying hammer with a whip for an arm. She listed her position as right side for our showcase yesterday, but was able to consistently score points from both pins. Her jumping ability, speed on transition and whip through the attacking zone scored so much for her side of the court that I lost count. If you're looking for a relentless athlete from either pin for the class of '28, you'll find Meredith on Circle's 16-2 next spring.

I cannot overstate how proud I am of this young lady. At about this time last year, she was shy(er) and more conservative in her approach to the game. Fast forward to this summer, where her right side play in the summer league has advanced and her showcase play was exceptional for a lefty right side. Yes, it helps that she's 6'2". But there are a ton of over-six-foot kids that aren't quite ready for the big time. Elena is, and will showcase her terminal attacks and tougher-than-nails block on Academy's top 16s team next spring.

Victoria was a walk-up addition to our showcase yesterday, but a very welcome one at that. Springy and fast, Miss Kim was a positive force from start to finish, and was exceptional in attacking from both pins because of that speed and athleticism. She adjusted well regardless of where the ball was set---if it was tight, she got her feet there; if it was out-of-system, she still managed a swing to challenge the defense. The gym yesterday was FILLED with kids Victoria's size (read: 5'7"), but none had the athleticism, speed and jumping ability on the outside, all wrapped in a positive attitude, like Victoria.
