Kentucky Talent Worth A Closer Look

A mid week game reveals there is depth in the Kentucky High School programs, not just what statistics display. From developing talent in middle schools to get their first taste of the high school scene, through to tested and showcased senior talent, whose path is already onto college having committed to play at the next level. Lexington Catholic faced off against Bryan Station and while the end result was not what Station would have liked, talent is there. Station Varsity faced the leader in the 11th region, and was competitive in their play, but was ultimately defeated 3-0. Besides the final outcome, we know and want to convey, talent can be found anywhere and its worthy of a closer look!    Remember her name, because you will be repeating it! Tylah is a young phenom and exhilarating to watch! She is very composed despite her age showing exceptional skills on the court displaying maturity in her play and court IQ within her obvious abundant talent. She has a consistent beautiful smooth swing with an excellent approach putting the ball deep or right on the ten foot line showing great control producing plentiful kills!. She has a excellent vertical with a good block and great timing, getting a piece of most balls. She tips smartly down the line and is lethal on the overpass, and will dig hard to get a ball up with fast reflexes. She is an enthusiastic player on the court and is well supported by her teammates and equally displays the same for them. She communicates well and has excellent body language on or off the court and is extremely engaging to watch! We see a huge future ahead for this athlete, and it has already begun! Remember her name!     Miller has a whole set of tools that help produce on the court consistently! She is an imposing player at the net and displays a strong swing with an explosive kill. She produces a solid block at the net with excellent timing, intimidating to the opposition. She can get herself quickly down the net with athleticism and purpose and does efficiently with a big swing step block to follow. Miller has excellent read of the play and has superb ball control to effectively score diversly, evident in an amazing left hand tip she produced in her most recent play. She finds way to accumulate points for her team and is all in on the court, including a great serve completing her dimension as a complete package! She is an athlete that is an asset to any team! No need to look further!       A 2029 prospect Clara's future looks bright! She already produces a hefty strong correct swing with good mechanics, with an excellent approach, great footwork and nice vertical to block. She has a correct platform getting a ball up in the air and covers her front line well. She shows good court IQ following the play well and puts herself in the best position to deliver a kill, calling out for the play! She is enthusiastic on and off the court, she will be one to watch with progression.     We've seen Anna play multiple times, and there is no doubt she will progress to be a major factor on the court, as she has already shown she is one to reckon with already. Her play is solid and comes with textbook technique, which looks to come to her naturally playing up and dominating the court! She is not afraid to swing big and the results show, she is confident in her play and can back it up. She tips smartly, can dig and has excellent court IQ working well with her setter. She can serve up a storm and is an enthusiastic teammate. She will progress into a monster on the court! Not enough words for this athlete!     Cat's play is uber consistent, she takes big swings, from a great approach with excellent impulsion and connects to make kills. She puts herself in the right position, allowing ample room to build and release with great timing and ball control. She can hit tight from the net or mid court and takes them as they come, not needing perfection to swing, with the same outcome racking up points. We love her calm demeanor that shows her confidence in her ability. She can get up for the block, digs and plays all in, covering the front line well, showing good court IQ. She celebrates her teammates points and is enthusiastic on and off the court. An asset to any team!       Cameron is a powerhouse, she is imposing, strong, confident and smart! She is a weapon that has refined her skills on the court that are plenty. She has an incredible powerful swing that gets past the block, she can deliver deep into the corners from either pin with excellent contact. She can hit from anywhere on the court, her back row hit is lethal. She has a solid block with good timing, digs heartily getting the ball into play from the back row and serves up aces. She tips down the line or creates campfires galore, she is smart and has excellent court IQ! She brings her game, and it shows! We know we would want to play with her, not against her!
