Millar (pictured) does a good job making things happen with her size at the net. She puts balls down a variety of ways in the middle and the pins including crosses. She can tip to shallow open parts of the court and send balls flying to the back row, including the corners. Millar's confidence has grown as the season has progressed. Millar also teams up with teammates well for sound double blocks.

Kays has become a force in the front row for the Bears. Kays has a great connection with the setter in her older sister Makenna. The two work well together on the third passes to put balls down. Kays is a sound one-on-one blocker and a solid server.

Outside of two juniors and two seniors, the Cardinals have a young team. However, Erickson hope for the future as a versatile player. She makes things happen from the pins and middle and makes nice first touches. Erickson quickly transitions from defense to offense. She'll continue to improve with more experience.

Layne had a nice season as a defensive specialist for the Comets last season. Layne still plays that position in the back row, but West Carter is trying to take advantage of her versatility using her in the middle more this year. Layne can hit from the back row and pounds down overpassed balls. Layne is also not afraid to push balls to the middle if it is open.

Ramos is showing great signs in the back row for the Generals. Ramos lines her body up with balls and sends good passes to the setter. Ramos has shown she can dig up strong hitters. She will only improve with more varsity experience.
