Fall Brawl Day Two Sound Hitting Performers

The Elizabethtown Panthers (22-4 overall) won the first Fall Brawl with an impressive 5-0 run over the two days, besting Sayre in the championship game. Tate (pictured) produces in every statistical category. The lefty makes the most of her sets trying to put teammates in position to put balls down and takes solid swings on the right side. She consistently tracks balls down and has good form on her blocks. Brown hits balls to different parts of the court. Brown has a variety of hard and soft hits and her setting experience comes in handy when Elizabethtown is out of system with pure passes. Powell works well with [player_tooltip player_id='535188' first='Brooke' last='Barntsen'] to effectively run the 6-2 Sayre attack as sound six-rotation players. Powell sets up teammates to put balls down on one play then takes a hard swing on the next play. Powell reacts quick on deflected balls. She sends nice shots to corners and is a pure passer for Sayre. Emmons makes great in-air adjustments using her size well. Emmons continuously angles balls off blockers for big points. Martin leaps high trying to find ways to put balls past taller opponents. The driven Martin brings everything she has on each play.
