20, 2027 Setters To Recruit In 2026

We're taking a look at 2027s today, this is a big year for these athletes who are heading into their 17s club season (some might be playing 18s).  They have proven on the high school and club courts they can play at the next level - now its a matter of what is the best fit.  Volleyball in the Midwest is thriving with teams in the NCAA Tournament across all divisions.  Here is taking a look at 20 setters from the Class of 2027 from Iowa and Wisconsin.    Iowa    [player_tooltip player_id='574225' first='Addy' last='Wolfswinkel'] plays the game with so much athleticism and physicality.  She packs a punch with her style of play as a setter where she has quite the range as a defender, can transition quickly to the net, and isn't afraid to push the tempo.  She was the QB1 for Cherokee this fall, leading them to a Class 3A state tournament appearance.  She has been playing club for Salty out of Northwest Iowa and is the type of athlete who can't go under the radar.      [player_tooltip player_id='443125' first='Liv' last='Davis'] preps for Waukee High School where she has been part of a strong program in Central Iowa.  I was able to see her live multiple times last year during her 16s club season and she had strong command of her side of the net.  She can hold the opposing middle to shoot it out to the pin.  She brings plenty of athleticism as well. I know last year she played for Iowa Impact and this year her profile says Iowa PowerPlex.  Either way, she's definitely one to know for the next level.      I'm excited to see [player_tooltip player_id='555717' first='Kaycee' last='Cory'] this club season where she will be suiting up for Iowa United.  She brings length and athleticism to the court as a 6'1 setter who can also swing on the right side.  She was a 1st Team All Conference setter for Cedar Rapids Kennedy in the highly competitive Mississippi Valley Conference of top large school Eastern Iowa teams.  The upside for her at the college level is very promising.      [player_tooltip player_id='555736' first='Lila' last='Eastvold'] ran a high powered Iowa City West offense that qualified for the Class 5A state tournament.  At 5'10, she is the type of setter who can provide a bigger block at the net and can be offensive when her number is called.  She's not afraid to shoot the ball outside pushing the tempo.       I saw [player_tooltip player_id='493974' first='Hadley' last='Michael'] play at the Iowa State Tournament and I had so much joy seeing her compete for her team.  She is such an athlete.  And is very new on the radar.  She had two stud outsides to feed, but also found ways to get everyone involved.  She also has so many positive intangibles in her favor where she is going to contribute to any team she is part of.     [player_tooltip player_id='490009' first='Leah' last='Caffery'] - Iowa Select   [player_tooltip player_id='489998' first='Belle' last='Seaman'] - Iowa United   [player_tooltip player_id='490002' first='Emma' last='Vanden Hull'] - Ohana   [player_tooltip player_id='493603' first='Miley' last='Geise'] - Six Pack   [player_tooltip player_id='493972' first='Tayah' last='Pollock'] - CIA   Wisconsin    There is a quiet confidence to the game of [player_tooltip player_id='485131' first='Lilliani' last='Big Eagle'].  She is an All State setter who preps at Freedom High School where she is a tough matchup to read.  Her ability to receive the ball high and neutral looks so natural.  All of this starts with her footwork.  Big Eagle is well trained in every aspect of being a setter and is a high IQ player.  She will suit up this season for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 17 Navy who has a full squad of really strong uncommitted 2027s.      [player_tooltip player_id='509331' first='Meghan' last='Bruss'] is so smooth, she plays the game with finesse where her ability to connect with middles is elite.  She was the Player of the Year in the Fox River Conference with how she affects every aspect of the game - a true gamechanger.  This club season she will be playing for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 18 Elite which has quite a streak of 18 Open bids.  Bruss will be ready for the challenge of leading this team that has quite a few 2027s on the roster.  She could be quick to commit in 2026.      I have always been a huge fan of the game of [player_tooltip player_id='509343' first='Taylor' last='Wold'].  She plays the game with speed, urgency, but yet she is under control.  Sting 17 Gold is going to be a court to watch right from the start of this 2026 season.  They have plenty of athletes who are still unsigned that could go quickly this winter.  Wold can fit in an offensive scheme that could be a 5-1 or 6-2.  She is going to fit and compete where it will elevate her side of the net.      [player_tooltip player_id='595947' first='Cora' last='Foster'] will be suiting up for 1W out of Green Bay this club season where this team is going to be one to watch at the 17s level.  Foster preps at Manitowoc Lincoln where she is a setter/right side combo player.  Her greatest strength is her all around ability where she can defend, set, swing, and block.  She just has a presence about her where there is a cool, calm, and collected confidence    [player_tooltip player_id='435900' first='Payton' last='Scifres'] - Sky High   [player_tooltip player_id='435889' first='Gigi' last='Chasco'] - [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting']   [player_tooltip player_id='587068' first='Lauren' last='Van Wie'] - [program_tooltip program_id='432005' first='Madtown' last='Juniors']   [player_tooltip player_id='435886' first='Camilla' last='Kreif'] - I AM VBC   [player_tooltip player_id='509339' first='Mia' last='Palmer'] - [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting']   [player_tooltip player_id='510429' first='Abigail' last='Beaumont'] - [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite']   [player_tooltip player_id='435883' first='Bella' last='Kaldor'] - [program_tooltip program_id='557038' first='Milwaukee' last='Juniors']   [player_tooltip player_id='434920' first='Sierra' last='Hoeft'] - [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting']   [player_tooltip player_id='724541' first='Izzy' last='Otto'] = One Wisconsin 1W
