Thank You 2025, Athletes, Families, Coaches, and Community
In this article:
A Year of Trust, Growth, and California Talent
As 2025 comes to a close, I want to pause and say thank you to the athletes, families, coaches, and subscribers who continue to support PrepDig California.
California volleyball is deep, competitive, and constantly evolving. This year reinforced why consistent, in-gym coverage and thoughtful evaluation matter. From freshmen taking their first exposure reps to upperclassmen preparing for the next level, 2025 was about showing up, telling stories responsibly, and advocating for athletes who want to be seen for who they truly are on and off the court.
Here is a look back at what we built together this year in California.
20,000+ Followers

PrepDigCa continued to grow in 2025, not just in followers, but in meaningful engagement from athletes who care about development, communication, and long-term success.
Every follow, tag, message, and form submission reflects trust. Trust that coverage is earned. Trust that evaluations are honest. Trust that athletes will be represented with care and credibility.
This trust is something I never take lightly.
Celebrating the 2027 Commitments

Sophomore year can be one of the most pivotal times in a young athlete's journey, especially for girls aspiring to play volleyball at the collegiate level. It's a year filled with growth, opportunity, and critical decisions that set the stage for their future in the sport. A huge congratulations to the top-ranked 2027 athletes who have made their college commitments this year! These exceptional players are shaping the future of college volleyball, and we're thrilled to celebrate their hard work, talent, and dedication, which have earned them spots in some of the nation's most prestigious programs:

These athletes have proven to be exactly what college coaches are looking for. I encourage all prospects to follow these athletes and learn from their journeys. We look forward to tracking their continued growth and can't wait to see what 2028s will commit in 2026!
2,024+ Athlete Voices Took Center Stage

A major focus in 2025 was expanding athlete-driven storytelling.
Through post-event reflection, showcases, and written spotlights, athletes were encouraged to speak in their own words about how they played, how they impacted their team, and what they are working on next.
With over 150 college programs subscribed at the DI, DII, DIII, JUCO, and NAIA levels, our approach gives college coaches valuable insight into mindset, coachability, and evaluations. It also empowers athletes to advocate for themselves with clarity and confidence.
The response from California athletes was outstanding, and this will remain a core part of PrepDigCA coverage moving forward.
