My DMV 250 Expo Team

Annabelle and Kamilla played for [program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last=''] last year but have switched clubs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>The Rest of the Expo 250 Participants </strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='470561' first='Grace' last='Francis']</strong> (Freedom/DYA) - A smaller outside at 5'8". Grace led Freedom to a Regional appearance in the state playoffs where they lost to Colgan. Her play got her selected to the second team Cedar Run District. She did not make our last 2025 rankings but that should change with the updated rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='235322' first='Avery' last='Prendergast'] </strong>(St. Johns/[program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last='']) - A very accomplished setter with some length at 5'9". One of the top servers for St. Johns (second in aces) who also plays defense well (third in digs). She is good at running a 5/1 offense because of her jump set frequency. I watched a little bit of her at the 250 Expo and the ball came off her hands nicely. Unfortunately, I did not get to see her in game action. She did a good job hustling on the court. She also looked pretty good at a Vienna Elite tryout where she impressed with her hands as well as her ability to hit the right side. Her height lists at 5'7". Faith was third on her high school team in digs and first in assists. A very versatile player. She ranks number 47 in our class of 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='367784' first='Alexis' last='Steinmetz']</strong> (Osbourn/American) - Alexis ranked number 85 in our class of 2026. The Cedar Run District voted her to the second team. Last year she set a 6/2 for MVSA. This year she appears to have made the Metro team. Metro can provide her some increased exposure. The Montgomery County Public Schools district voted her to the first team. It appears she did not get a lot of playing time for Seton.
