I’ve seen Grace compete at various levels over the last three years, and she is always an athlete I will stop to watch. Danielson played a large role in her club team’s success this past year and constantly shows why they only need one setter. Grace is one of those setters who will lay everything on the line to help her team succeed. She plays with a high level of maturity and composure, helping her to lead her team through stressful situations. This setter is a prime example of a playmaker, always making calculated decisions with precise ball placement. Aside from her stellar athleticism and knowledge of the game, Danielson is also an amazing teammate and knows how to pick her team up when they’re down. This is a player who is going to give it her all wherever she goes, no matter her role on the team, and any program would be lucky to have this kid.

This setter from Platform Elite 17 Adidas is an athlete that I don’t think has gotten enough attention this season. She has played a key role in her team’s undeniable success so far this season. No matter where she is on the court, she always finds a way to set up her offense for success. Aside from her amazing ball placement, she is also a major contributor with her blocks and refuses to let a ball drop on defense. If you want to see a leader who truly sets the standard, Danielson is the player to watch.

I my initial in-person scouting opportunity of Danielson arrived last club season at the Windy City qualifier. I caught her competing for the first time this year during the 2026 Iowa Impact Invite in Ankeny. There, the Pleasant Valley junior ran the show for a Platform 17 Adidas outfit that won the 17/18U Gold Bracket championship with a perfect 6-0 record. It won 12 of 14 sets played. Danielson is steady and consistent as a setter, two traits you love to see at the position. She’s a good athlete and moves well around the court, covering a lot of ground. Danielson makes good decisions often based on where she receives the pass, not trying to do too much with her sets and making the makeables. She holds up well in serve receive, and long arms and height help when taking a swing or throwing up the block.

I caught Danielson dealing during the WIndy City Qualifier in April. She showed consistency and a broad skill set at the setter position. It was nice getting a chance to scout her again at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase during June. Danielson confirmed that she could contribute for the defending Class 5A state champion Spartans after operating on a loaded PV sophomore squad in 2024. With soft touch and consistent delivery, Danielson sets up all three front row positions for success. Attackers are furnished with opportunities to end points. She’s a good athlete that can defend at the net or dig it out. Danielson is a prospect whose stock is rising.
