We’re staying in the middle for this one. Daniels has been a standout at past Prep Dig Showcase events, particularly given her multi-position range in the front row. She primarily anchors the middle for Yutan, but the Chieftains won’t hesitate to run Daniels on higher, slower sets. This varied approach has yielded incredible results, with Daniels logging 3.4 kills per set on a 0.383 hitting percentage. Yutan is out to prove that last year’s semifinal breakthrough was no fluke, and Daniels can chart the return trip to Lincoln.

Daniels has written new entries on her scouting report since we watched her compete on the Prep Dig Circuit. We’ve seen her thrive at multiple positions throughout her prep career, and her stock grew further during Yutan’s Cinderella run to the state tournament semifinals. When Daniels suits up for Nebraska Elite 16 Prime, she morphs into one of the team’s go-to terminators. Her quick arm set the pace during 16 Prime’s Gold bracket climb, and Daniels is poised for a big junior breakthrough on the prep side.

The Yutan-to-Nebraska Elite pipeline is still going strong. Daniels was a key piece of the Chieftan attack last fall and primarily played on the right pin. Her ability to see open spots on the court helped expand Yutan’s balanced attack en route to another successful season. Daniels also has a strong blocking presence that matches up well with any left-side attacker in front of her. Look for all these traits to come together at Nebraska Elite this spring.
