Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a strong, calm leader. As a setter I lead with my high volleyball IQ and try to help my hitters shine by giving them great sets.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Honestly I’m quite shy in real life, but love playing volleyball and love being part of a team. It’s takes me a little bit to come out of my shell but once I get to know you… let’s gooooo!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an artist and a member of the National Art Honor Society. I’m not sure I’ll choose art as a future career but I love drawing and painting as my hobby and for fun.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being the captain and setter on both of my last two teams has greatly increased my leadership skills. For community service, my family helps raise money every year for children’s cancer research through charity concerts, art auctions, and other events. I help promote the events and the content creation for raising awareness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’m always the youngest on all my teams so sometimes that can be awkward or uncomfortable at first but it always ends up being great in the end.

What type of college are you looking for?

I have a 4.0 right now but I plan to graduate eventually with an even higher GPA. I have hopes of going to a great college, preferably D3, that I can go on academic scholarship and play volleyball too! I am hoping to find something with a good nursing and medical program. I hope to be a PA one day. :) That’s the dream!
