Explosive and already familiar with a faster offense at the open level, Paige plays for the best high school program in the Evansville area and one of the top teams in the MEPL at KiVA. Her court vision is her main positive in her skill set, as that skill alone has her as one of the better outside hitting options available in this class. I’d like to see a bit more ball control from her on serve receive as well as on floor defense before I make a full evaluation. For now, she’s a serviceable pin attacker that has all of the shots in the book.

Furbee’s versatility will blend in just fine with the 17 Red team. She does a great job transitioning then has a great follow-through on her swings. She smacks it down the lines and can adjust in the air to tip balls over blockers. Furbee can take quality out of system swings when needed.

The only class of ’27 kid on Metro’s 17-1, Paige is a physical pin attacker who has six rotations written all over her future. Able to quickly transition from serve receive to attack in a hurry, Paige also knows the work ethic and resiliency to stay successful, as evidenced by her time with southern Indiana’s top 4A team.
