About Elise

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Lefty setter with quick feet and quick hands. Like to move the ball around to my hitters to challenge the defense as well as keep the offense flowing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong internal drive to succeed. This is evident in the classroom as well as on the court. I focus on not only what I can do to improve my skills, but what I can do to best help my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

1. PV Academic Excellence Award 2024-2025 2. Sporting Iowa East 2010 Soccer Team 3. Pleasant Valley Girls Soccer Team 4. Pleasant Valley Girls Track Team 5. Pleasant Valley Girls Volleyball Team 6. Youth Group

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a volleyball team captain for the last two seasons of high school volleyball, allowing me to be a leader on the court. Off the court, I have enjoyed putting in community service hours at youth camps for volleyball, soccer, and track. I also participate in my church’s youth group.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been fortunate not to face any challenges to this date. As a result, I try to be a good friend and support system for my teammates that have faced season ending injuries.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to find a college with strong academics that also allows me to pursue my passion of playing college volleyball.
