Miller (pictured) played a huge role helping the Saints control the net. She consistently read St. Ursula’s hitters and timed her jumps well effecting plays and making things easier for the Seton defensive specialists. Miller had two big blocks in that third game to help Seton build a 6-1 lead. Miller also had some nice swings on short sets in the middle to give the Saints another option. She’ll continue to have one-on-one opportunities at the net with other teammates commanding attention from opponents. Miller said every ball that comes a player’s way is a new opportunity to put balls down so they try to take advantage of them, knowing where to hit balls and an opposing team’s weaknesses.
