How about another 16 Lime star? Pickering is one of the team’s most physical attackers and is a clear go-to on the left side. Her length allows her to convert on tough out-of-system swings by going over the top of opposing blockers. We’re eager to watch Pickering establish a strong foundation in the early history of Lincoln Standing Bear High School.

We had a lot to learn about what Nebraska ONE would bring to the 15s age group. Pickering seized an early opportunity to make herself known and has kept progressing since then. She is perhaps the most physical attacker in the 15 Lime frontcourt, adding to what is already a formidable offense. Pickering is also developing some finesse to accompany her power on the left side. The ultimate conclusion is that Nebraska ONE has plenty of future stars lurking across all its 15s teams, and 2024 is just the start of our journey.
