The biggest lesson Naima Tilivala-Lewis took away from the showcase was surprisingly simple.

The little things matter.

Fundamentals. Consistency. Attention to detail.

As the drills became more demanding, she found herself relying on those foundations more than anything else. Blocking and setting decisions became easier when the fundamentals remained strong.

One moment stood above the rest.

A long rally ended with a block, a skill she had spent considerable time developing and one that college coaches had been helping her refine throughout the day.

The timing felt rewarding.

Not because of the point itself, but because improvement had become visible.

With camps at USC, UCLA, CBU, CSUN, and Arizona still ahead, Naima heads into summer focused on becoming stronger, more explosive, and more complete while continuing to build consistency in her setting.
