The Jaguars needed someone bad to step into the libero role and Houston (pictured) answered the call. Houston moves her feet well and uses a good platform to make sound two to three-point passes. Houston can stay back to handle well-struck balls and move forward on softer ones. Houston mixes up her serves well. She smokes it to the four zone on one play then lands one in the two zone on the next one keeping defenses guessing. Houston had 255 digs and 32 aces in the fall, helping the Jaguars go 28-11 and win another 6th Region crown to make it to the state tournament for the 46th time out of 47 years the event has been held.
