A recent Oregon beach volleyball commit, she is a dominant sand player. But her impressive play for Marist this past high school season proved she is just as dominant of a court player. Her transition from the middle to the pin allowed her to flex her ability to play six rotations. As bouncy and athletic as they come, she was relied on heavily during the State finals to put the ball away. With a match-high 28 kills, she was incredibly efficient with 60 swings, hitting an impressive .367. While she has committed to Oregon solely for beach, if the Ducks are looking for a versatile and athletic attacker for their court team, Elgarico could definitely fulfill that role. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65a6ed268859e"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["161865"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003ePrevious rank: #32u003c/spanu003ernrnu003ciu003eu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eWhy the rise? u003c/spanu003eu003c/iu003eu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eKaino was hard to miss this high school season for Burns High School as their lethal outside hitter. Previously playing in the middle for the Hilanders, the move to the pin was a natural transition. Playing opposite [player_tooltip player_id='244419' first='Mackenzie' last='King'], the pair made for an unrelenting offensive duo in the 3A classification. Her play was instrumental in the Hilanders 3A State championship title. For her play, she was awarded Eastern Oregon Player of the Year and 3A Second Team All-State. She is explosive, with a high vertical jump and a quick arm. Her ability to pound the ball at a multitude of different angles is impressive to watch. Unfortunately, Kaino will not be able to play this club season due to a knee injury, but she was previously slated to play for Idaho One. Until then, we will be anxiously awaiting Kaino's return to the volleyball court!u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65a6ed26885f4"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["161886"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003ePrevious rank: #37u003c/spanu003ernrnu003ciu003eu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eWhy the rise? u003c/spanu003eu003c/iu003eu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eScholl is an athlete who, with each update, continues to rise in stock. Her freshman season she was an under-the-radar recruit, not included in our initial 2025 rankings. But by the end of her sophomore club season, she could not be ignored. For St. Paul, she was their primary offensive weapon and led them to a second-place finish in the 1A State tournament. For her play in the finals she was given the Player of the Match by Moda Health. In that match alone, she had 39 swings and converted 18 of them into kills, hitting a .308. She is aggressive in transition and always hungry to be set, adding to any team's offense mightily. She has a quick arm and fast snap on the ball that is tough to defend. So, she did not get on our radar until her sophomore season when she swung up on Westview High School's varsity team during the State tournament. To say her improvement in a little over two years has been drastic would be an understatement. She puts her athletic 6'3” frame to good use. Her ability to pivot quickly in transition and get up with a quick right left to swing at the ball is noted. The exciting thing about Steel is that her game is still coming together. Only two years in, she has so much untouched potential and showcases an incredibly high recruiting ceiling. But was hard to ignore by the end of this past high school season. She ran a 5-1 for Marshfield, leading them to the 4A State finals. She displays a natural hand strength, finding her pin hitters from great distances across the court. At 6'1”, she sets across the front row with ease, becoming incredibly offensive. Running a 5-1 offense magnificently, she shouldered a major load this high school season for Corbett. With active feet, she is very mobile and runs down and passes off the net with ease. She does a good job involving her middles in the offense, especially in transition. After swinging up to Athena 16-1 at the end of last club season, she officially joined the returners from that group as they aged up to become Athena 17-1. But the offensive load she shouldered for Grant High School this past season proved she could swing from any position across the net. She was given a PIL First Team All-League nod for her play for the Generals. She creates very nice attacking angles for herself to rack up kills all over the court. Her blocking is formidable, fronting the opposing hitter and pressing back into the court. Wagstaff has proved to be a threat both offensively and defensively. This past high school season, she continued to turn heads as the starting libero for McMinnville High School. She received Pacific Second Team All-League for her play. She is disciplined and technical with her platform, delivering settable passes and digs more often than not. Her ability to convert even the toughest of swings into a settable dig is noted. Her fast reflexes and quick reaction time are on full display when on defense. She remains calm, cool, and collected on the court, not getting rattled easily. From the service line, she brings a tough jump float that garners plenty of aces and service disruptions.
