Eyes on Orlando.

AAU Nationals has a knack for drawing Nebraska teams to sunny Florida for summer competition. It's a venue where many teams wrap up the club season, and we've seen big-time results from Great Plains squads, too. Let's repeat the trend in 2024.

Wave 2 rolls out on Monday, and every 15U division is represented. That allows us to take a wholesale look at the entire age group and each of its Nebraska representatives.

We'll do that here.

Nebraska Elite 15 Revolution

What a great torchbearer for the 15 Open field.

Nebraska Elite 15 Revolution got a quick start on the USAV scene with a 15 Open championship at January's Northern Lights Qualifier. It's now time to venture over to AAUs, where 15 Revolution will again compete in the Open division.

This is a great chance to catch up on some of Nebraska Elite's best 2027s. [player_tooltip player_id='498907' first='Nora' last='Herian'] has led the offense on the outside and is accompanied by lethal middle blockers like [player_tooltip player_id='458184' first='Myla' last='Deats'] and [player_tooltip player_id='499001' first='Madison' last='Phillips']. [player_tooltip player_id='458186' first='Trina' last='Schroeder'] will continue her backcourt dominance.

[program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 15 Black

Here's a pair of squads with a lot to prove in Orlando.

Nebraska Juniors 15 Black knows the rigors of Open-level competition and will compete in 15 Premier at AAUs. [player_tooltip player_id='521291' first='Karsyn' last='Christensen'] runs a smooth offense that features a heavy dose of [player_tooltip player_id='498996' first='Alex' last='Ervin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='521289' first='Lilly' last='Goodwin']. Look for more Nebraska Juniors stars to emerge on one of club volleyball's biggest stages.

We have lofty expectations for [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 15 Black. This is another group we scouted several times on the USAV qualifier circuit, and [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE']'s past successes bode well for AAU Nationals. [player_tooltip player_id='458130' first='Haleah' last='Schuerman'] has been a gem in the back row, leading to the rise of prolific scorers like [player_tooltip player_id='521266' first='Lauren' last='McKernan'], [player_tooltip player_id='521271' first='Emery' last='Williams'], and [player_tooltip player_id='498977' first='Jackie' last='Eberspacher'].

Nebraska Elite 15 Ignite

Nebraska Elite is going three-deep in AAU's 15U divisions, so let's bring on our second entry.

Like 15 Revolution, 15 Ignite started the year strong at NLQ and clinched a spot in the Gold bracket. This place several multi-talented players on our radar, including setter [player_tooltip player_id='521240' first='Raegan' last='Castle'] and do-everything outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='541534' first='Stella' last='Fogelstrom']. [player_tooltip player_id='521244' first='Quinn' last='Sanmann'] will also be an important contributor in the ball control phase as 15 Ignite seeks a late-season breakthrough in the Sunshine State.

15 Aspire

Club Legacy 15 Alpha

[program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 15 Navy

Two more clubs enter the spotlight.

Club Legacy 15 Alpha will be a fascinating team to follow in the 15 Aspire race. This squad is poised to add several new names to our 2027 watch list, and this event will help lock in those entries. [player_tooltip player_id='521300' first='Grace' last='Samuelson'] is gaining a ton of momentum at the middle blocker spot and has connected well with setter [player_tooltip player_id='512869' first='Alyse' last='Moulton']. [player_tooltip player_id='591567' first='Kennedy' last='Hochstein'] was recently featured in one of our pin-hitter discussions.

[program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 15 Navy accompanies Club Legacy to give Nebraska a pair of under-the-radar competitors in this division. We've highlighted several versatile athletes on this squad, including [player_tooltip player_id='521310' first='Maggie' last='Lindauer'], [player_tooltip player_id='521303' first='Lizzie' last='Krajicek'], and [player_tooltip player_id='521305' first='Maddisyn' last='Guenther']. A balanced effort could place [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] among the frontrunners in 15 Aspire.

15 Spirit

Club Legacy 15 Bravo

[program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 15 Red

This pairing is back and going two deep.

We have a lot to learn about this 15 Spirit duo when Wave 2 begins. Club Legacy 15 Bravo will look to [player_tooltip player_id='591608' first='Emma' last='Nadgwick'] and [player_tooltip player_id='591610' first='Makinley' last='Daugherty'] to lead the way, and several other names are bound to jump on our radar. The same can be said of [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 15 Red, which has already put players like Bailey Zaloudek and Miah Storr on our radar.

Who else ends up on our 2027 watch list after this one?

15 Elite

Nebraska Elite 15 Prime

Nebraska Juniors 15 Red

These could be some serious contenders in 15 Elite.

Nebraska Elite 15 Prime has been a common sight throughout our club travels. We're always impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='774635' first='Molly' last='McGreer']'s backcourt command, which allows [player_tooltip player_id='521220' first='Addison' last='Bradley'] to set her precise offense. [player_tooltip player_id='521226' first='Callie' last='Petersen'] should produce plenty of highlight moments in the middle.

Nebraska Juniors reenters the fray with its 15 Red group. [player_tooltip player_id='532953' first='Paisley' last='Bartek'] and [player_tooltip player_id='591579' first='Madi' last='Kosmicki'] have captured our attention and are sure to be a factor in future 2027 watch lists. They're not the only ones we have an eye on, either.
