The high school girls volleyball regular season is winding down for some teams, as final tune-ups and preparations are being made for the postseason. Some tournaments are serving as a final dress rehearsal before teams play in crucial league matches, which could determine playoff seeding.

Friday and Saturday saw the Redondo Power Classic take center stage, which featured some of the best teams from not only Southern California, but from all over the United States. In the end, Sierra Canyon wound up winning the tournament, as they ended day two with two three-set matches against two quality opponents in Mira Costa in the semifinals and Archbishop Mitty in the finals.

At the time of the championship presentation, Trailblazers head coach Stefanie Wigfall hadn't picked who from her team was going to be named tournament MVP or who was going to make all-tournament. But with how the Trailblazers came together on day two of the tournament, you can make the argument that the entire team deserves to be all-tournament and MVP.

Some notable players that stepped up for Sierra Canyon in the final were [player_tooltip player_id='338908' first='Lucky' last='Fasavalu'], whose serves were rather effective in the second set, [player_tooltip player_id='545313' first='Hanna' last='McGinest'] who helped take pressure off [player_tooltip player_id='475609' first='McKenna' last='McIntosh'] at the pin and Eva Jeffries, who came up with some big blocks in the final. [player_tooltip player_id='888357' first='Kendall' last='Omoruyi'], who also made spectacular plays throughout the tournament, said the team "coming together" helped bring up the energy for the team in the final.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPcBQ6cAGXR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Down below is the rest of the All-Tournament team from the Redondo Power Classic.

Archbishop Mitty's McKenna Crossen and [player_tooltip player_id='532572' first='Chayse' last='Courtney'] helped the team place second in the Redondo Power Classic.
