On to the next one.

We've spent the past few days logging new entries to the Nebraska Bid Tracker after a busy, coast-to-coast qualifier tour from top Great Plains Region competitors. [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Synergy, [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Elite, and Premier Nebraska 15 Gold each added their names to the list in three different locations. But, of course, the qualifier grind never stops.

This weekend's slate brings several more of Nebraska's bid hopefuls into the crucible. We're paying particularly close attention to MEQ's Indianapolis outing and the third weekend of the Northern Lights Qualifier. The next wave of triumphs is on the way, and these Great Plains representatives could be the next to secure their GJNC plans.

Our introduction alluded to MEQ and NLQ, but [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] is ready to run it back at NEQ.

17 Synergy's runner-up finish in Philly set a high bar for its 17 Black counterparts. The 17 USA division joins the NEQ fray a week after 17 Open, so we could have an extended [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] takeover in the Keystone State.

This 17 Black group is no stranger to qualifier success and the GJNC stage. Last year's 16 Black lineup secured a bid through the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament and nearly earned a USA bid at Show Me. Many of 2025's stars are back, with [player_tooltip player_id='458146' first='Alex' last='Kroll'] leading the way at the setter spot. The Lincoln North Star standout has established iron-clad connections with [player_tooltip player_id='807924' first='Elsie' last='Schmidt'] and [player_tooltip player_id='521271' first='Emery' last='Williams'] on the pins. New additions like [player_tooltip player_id='365054' first='Evelyn' last='Timmons'] and [player_tooltip player_id='521256' first='Emmalyn' last='Quinn'] have generated further intrigue for 17 Black's postseason prospects.

An important litmus test awaits.

Premier Nebraska is bringing a full armada to Indianapolis.

Our Mideast Qualifier discussion shifts from St. Louis to Indy. This weekend's ledger features every 17s and 18s division, plus the coveted prizes in 16 Open and 16 USA. Premier Nebraska dominates the Great Plains representation in the Hoosier State, and the club's 17 Gold squad could set the standard.

17 Gold's Open breakthrough could come ahead of schedule. We have vivid memories of last year's team making a wild, roundabout climb into bid contention at Show Me. The Kansas City stage still looms large, but Indianapolis comes first.

We'll have our eye on elite frontcourt terminators like [player_tooltip player_id='807803' first='Lyric' last='Judson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='575234' first='Koco' last='Janssen'] during this weekend's gauntlet. This will also be an extraordinary test for 17 Gold's ball-control unit, with [player_tooltip player_id='458362' first='Campbell' last='Capece'] and [player_tooltip player_id='774904' first='Tess' last='Solomon'] commanding the first two contacts.

On to the 16s.

MEQ's list of 16 USA participants swelled to triple digits, so any team that finds separation has already accomplished something great. Premier Nebraska 16 Black has an opportunity to do that as the top-seeded team in Pool 8 of the division.

16 Black looks a lot different than last year's iteration. MEQ presents a prominent stage for players like [player_tooltip player_id='572680' first='Brooklyn' last='Beethe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='741552' first='Molly' last='Phillips'] to expand their roles in the 2026 lineup. [player_tooltip player_id='774646' first='Bella' last='Mueller'], [player_tooltip player_id='575242' first='Sydney' last='Bartholet'], and [player_tooltip player_id='573209' first='Jordan' last='Frink'] bring further firepower to an exceptional 16 Black offense.

It's time to put it together against the nation's best.

Here's another one of those "run it back" opportunities.

The second weekend of the Northern Lights Qualifier gave us VCNebraska 16 Elite's bid breakthrough in the 16 USA field. 16 Liberty lands on the third edition of the event, and VCN 16 Black will be there.

We were treated to a perfect pool start from last year's 15 Black lineup, so we could be due for more in 2026. Class of 2028 gems like [player_tooltip player_id='625558' first='Eva' last='Gutz'], [player_tooltip player_id='774609' first='Alexis' last='Valish'], and [player_tooltip player_id='571950' first='Adeline' last='Hunnicutt'] provide vital continuity and high-level experience for this year's lineup. Early-season tournaments have revealed the dynamic nature of 16 Black's starting rotation, and NLQ will test those combinations.

Club Legacy 15 Alpha

Why not the Club Legacy crew?

We've had the privilege of covering Club Legacy's recent rise in the Great Plains Region hierarchy. The 2025 iteration of 15 Alpha ran the table at the Show Me Qualifier, and we're eager to see what the next wave of 15s can do.

The regional circuit has provided invaluable reps for 15 Alpha's cast of 2029s. [player_tooltip player_id='932974' first='Josie' last='Peatrowsky'], Natalie Brabec, and [player_tooltip player_id='932992' first='Ila' last='Bolden'] are just a few of the 15 Alpha stars building off of successful freshman campaigns on the prep side.

Those fall milestones could translate to spring triumphs.
