With travel season still rolling, the 14s having wrapped up AZNQ, and the 15s still deep in the hunt with their NQ on the horizon, the intensity is only building. Every weekend has brought new contenders, statement wins, and teams proving they belong.</p>   <p>Now it's time to take a closer look. We're breaking down the squads that have already taken care of business, the ones knocking on the door, and the teams you need to keep on your radar as we head into the final stretch of bid season.<br></p>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading">15s</h1>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">AZ Storm 15 Thunder </h3>   <p>We've watched this squad compete at the Open level all season long, and they've made a statement at every stop. They first punched their ticket to Nationals at the Sunshine Classic with an impressive 2nd-place finish, setting the tone early for who they are as a group. They followed it up with another strong showing in Vegas, finishing 3rd and continuing to prove they belong among the best.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='746646' first='Kalenna' last='Thiele'] has been incredibly impressive playing up in this division, anchoring the back row as a steady, vocal libero. Her serve receive is reliable, and her defensive motor never stops. On the outside, [player_tooltip player_id='885088' first='Sahmone' last='Wadsworth'] and [player_tooltip player_id='888723' first='Sloan' last='Kribel'] bring major impact as true 6-rotation threats — controlling the middle-back defensively while serving as go-to options both in and out of system. Running the offense, [player_tooltip player_id='885089' first='Sophia' last='Gregg'] has done an excellent job, making smart decisions and staying composed in tight moments.</p>   <p>This is a well-rounded, high-level group that continues to trend upward. They're still chasing that first-place finish — and with the way they're playing, it feels like it's only a matter of time.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Omni 15N1</h3>   <p>This squad is no stranger to the national stage. After competing in the USA division last year, they set out to get back — and got the job done. They came close in Florida with a 5th-place finish, just missing a bid, but used that momentum to fuel a strong showing in Vegas, where they finished 3rd and officially punched their ticket to Nationals.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='787775' first='Kendall' last='Klingenberg'] has been instrumental to this team's success, bringing relentless hustle, precise ball placement, and a knack for delivering clutch dumps when her team needs it most. On the right side, [player_tooltip player_id='885082' first='K'Lei' last='Noah'] has had an outstanding season — establishing a dominant block, contributing steady back-row defense, and swinging aggressively to score. In the middle, [player_tooltip player_id='888746' first='Joelle' last='Wasson'] has been a force, combining a quick, hard-to-stop attack with the ability to cover significant space at the net, making life difficult for opposing hitters.</p>   <p>This is a team with experience, confidence, and momentum — and we're excited to see how they close out the season on the national stage.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Rev 15 Premier </h3>   <p>This team has turned plenty of heads in Open locally and has proven they can travel and compete at a high level. Their 3rd-place finish at the Boston Qualifier solidified that they belong among the best on the national stage, and they followed it up with another strong showing in Vegas, finishing 5th in Open against tough competition.</p>   <p>At setter, [player_tooltip player_id='891296' first='Olivia' last='Shwer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='935405' first='Sylvie' last='Solorzano'] do an excellent job running the offense, consistently making smart decisions and getting their hitters in rhythm. On the right side, [player_tooltip player_id='888733' first='Emma' last='Brayer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='922468' first='Alia' last='Dement'] provide a strong presence, combining a solid block with effective attacking. Meanwhile, [player_tooltip player_id='920122' first='Mia' last='Wells'] continues to show why she's one of the top players in the 2030 class, thriving as a 6-rotation outside with her ability to perform under pressure and score off high hands.</p>   <p>This squad is knocking on the door of a finals appearance, and if they continue on this trajectory, it feels like it's only a matter of time before they break through.</p>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading">14s</h1>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">AZ Storm 14 Thunder</h3>   <p>This squad made an impression early and hasn't let up since. Despite being one of the youngest teams in Open, they've consistently held their own against older competition and proven they belong. They punched their ticket at their first qualifier in Florida with a 3rd-place finish, immediately establishing themselves as a top contender in Arizona.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='920104' first='Kora' last='Callahan'] has been a steady, reliable presence on the outside, anchoring serve receive with high-level ball control while bringing a quick, powerful swing on the pin. In the back row, [player_tooltip player_id='891496' first='Brianna' last='Murray'] continues to shine, locking down the defense and keeping her team in system even in tough, out-of-system moments. Running the offense, [player_tooltip player_id='937334' first='Cameron' last='Sutton'] delivers a clean, consistent ball regardless of pass quality, doing an excellent job leading the floor and putting her team in position to succeed.</p>   <p>This is a young group with a high ceiling, and the way they've competed so far makes it clear — they're only getting started. We're excited to see how they continue to represent Arizona as the qualifier season rolls on.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Livewire 14 Prime </h3>   <p>This squad made a huge statement in Minnesota at the Northern Lights Qualifier, battling their way to the final and finishing 2nd to punch their ticket to Nationals in the Liberty Division. They're a gritty, scrappy group loaded with talent — and they play the game with an edge that's hard to match.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='959769' first='Parker' last='Sconyers'] has been outstanding in the back row, consistently reading hitters early and putting herself in perfect position to make plays. She brings toughness, effort, and a relentless defensive presence every time she's on the court. On the outside, [player_tooltip player_id='920117' first='Mylo' last='Turk'] continues to impress with her all-around impact — playing strong off-blocker defense and finding ways to terminate in big, high-pressure moments.</p>   <p>This is a deep, well-rounded team that continues to trend upward, and with the way they're competing, we fully expect them to keep turning heads on the national stage.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Omni 14N1 </h3>   <p>This team has already proven they can finish on top — and it doesn't feel like they're done yet. They opened the season by winning the Festival Fiesta and followed it up with another title at the Sunshine Classic in the Liberty Division, showing consistency and dominance across multiple stages.</p>   <p>This squad competes with grit and keeps opponents guessing at every turn. In the back row, [player_tooltip player_id='920112' first='Leah' last='Miles'] plays lights-out defense, anticipating tips, rolls, and seams at a high level while helping control the tempo of the game. [player_tooltip player_id='789370' first='Layla' last='Duncan'] has been a steady and commanding presence in the middle for her squad. At the net, she's disciplined and intentional—reading setters well, closing seams, and establishing a strong, physical block that makes her tough to score against.</p>   <p>With this level of talent and competitiveness, this group is far from finished. As they continue to travel, it'll be exciting to see if they can elevate their bid — because with this roster, the ceiling is high.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">AZ Sky 14 Gold </h3>   <p>We've watched this team grow tremendously over the course of the season, and their journey has been nothing short of impressive. They came out strong in Open early on, hit some adversity against high-level competition, and then responded in a big way — coming together when it mattered most.</p>   <p>After a top-10 finish in Open in Florida that likely left them wanting more, they turned around and made a statement at AZNQ. This time, they left no doubt — finishing 1st and securing a National bid with an impressive win over Rev in the final.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='934772' first='Stella' last='Fancher'] ran the floor exceptionally well at AZNQ, especially in the championship match, showing composure and control in big moments. On the outside, [player_tooltip player_id='919648' first='Charlotte' last='Lilley'] continues to set the standard for her class — handling tough serves with confidence and taking over matches offensively when needed. In the back row, [player_tooltip player_id='920105' first='Elliot' last='Millhiser'] is a true problem-solver in chaos, providing a steady, reliable presence in both serve receive and defense.</p>   <p>This team clearly isn't done yet. With their performance at AZNQ, they've shown they're capable of making serious noise — and as they head into more travel opportunities, it feels like they're just getting started.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Rev 14 Premier </h3>   <p>This team has been a joy to watch all season long. They compete with relentless fight and determination, never backing down — and that mindset is exactly what led them to punch their ticket to Nationals at AZNQ. With a 2nd-place finish, they secured an American bid and proved they belong on the big stage.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='939690' first='Olivia' last='Larkin'] has been a key piece on the outside, doing an excellent job tooling the block, reading the court, and making smart, efficient shot selections. In the back row, [player_tooltip player_id='939282' first='Naomi' last='Miller'] brings elite defensive instincts and court awareness, keeping her team steady and in system with her consistent play. On the pin, [player_tooltip player_id='936795' first='Brooke' last='Holubar'] is a force — explosive in her approach, disciplined on the block, and consistently attacking at a high contact point.</p>   <p>This is a team that thrives on effort and belief, and with the way they compete, there's no telling how far they can go as the season continues.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">EVJ 14 Elite</h3>   <p>This squad is more than deserving of a bid, and they finally had their moment at AZNQ — finishing 3rd and securing an American bid. They've played with incredible energy and relentless effort all season long, so it was great to see that work pay off in a big way.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='947372' first='Paityn' last='Dillard'] has stood out in the middle with her quick footwork and ability to close blocks across the net. She brings a solid offensive presence and a contagious energy that fuels her team. Running the offense, [player_tooltip player_id='958978' first='Sofia' last='Arneson'] never stops working — elevating those around her with consistent, hittable ball delivery and a relentless motor. As a 6-rotation contributor, [player_tooltip player_id='935413' first='Lilah' last='Wojcik'] has been a steady, versatile presence, impacting the game with her block and attack in the front row while also stepping in to run the offense smoothly from the back row.</p>   <p>This group is trending upward, and with the way they compete and continue to grow, they're far from finished.</p>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Atomic 14 Smack Premier </h3>   <p>This squad held strong at AZNQ and delivered a performance that put them firmly in the national conversation. Earning a Freedom bid, they showed exactly what they're capable of — and with that momentum, they're a team to watch moving forward.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='940932' first='Stella' last='Scarborough'] was a standout in the middle, bringing an explosive attack, the ability to tool the block, and a quick-tempo presence that created problems for opposing defenses. On the outside, [player_tooltip player_id='920124' first='Kristina' last='Mimic'] plays with a high volleyball IQ, consistently finding open space and mixing power with finesse to score effectively.</p>   <p>This is a group that competes with confidence and purpose, and we're excited to see them continue to perform at a high level as the season progresses. </p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Our Predictions - Who's Still Gonna Do it? </h2>   <p><strong>AZ Sky 15 Gold - </strong>This team has been impressive from start to finish, and it feels like their breakthrough moment is right around the corner. Currently ranked #2 in the state for 15s, they've consistently proven they can compete at a high level — including a strong finish in the Gold bracket of Open in Vegas. With the way they battle and continue to elevate their play, it's not a matter of if, but when. We fully expect to see this squad on the national stage.</p>   <p><strong>Aspire 15 Alpha</strong> - This is another top-5 team in the state, loaded with talent and primed to break through. Whether it's at West Coast or back home at AZNQ, we fully expect them to seal the deal. They've consistently impressed us with their tenacity, resilience, and ability to battle through tough moments — and it feels like they're on the verge of something big. This is a group ready to leave their mark.</p>   <p><strong>Club One 14 Titanium- </strong>This squad turned heads at AZNQ, putting together a performance that firmly positioned them for the next bid out of Arizona. They proved they can compete at a high level and belong in the mix.With the talent and momentum they've built, we wouldn't be surprised to see them secure a bid as the season continues. This group is right on the edge.</p>   <p><strong>Armor 14 Elite</strong> -This team has competed at a high level all season long, and as a new squad, they've made an immediate impact. They've turned heads with their strong on-court chemistry and relentless fight, showing they can hang with top competition. A top-10 finish at AZNQ has them well positioned for a potential trickle-down bid, and with the way they continue to compete, they're a team trending in the right direction.</p>   <p><strong>Club One 15 Platinum -</strong>There's no question this team knows how to compete. A top-10 finish at MEQ, combined with their continued battle in the Open division locally, shows they can hang with high-level competition.With more travel tournaments ahead and AZNQ still on the horizon, this is a group that could make some serious noise.</p>   <p><strong>AZ Storm 15 Lightning- </strong>No one should be counting this squad out. They've competed well in Open at every travel stop and continue to prove they're a legitimate contender in Arizona. Their fight, resilience, and willingness to challenge themselves make them more than deserving of a bid. This is a group that keeps pushing forward — and we're excited to see them continue to take strides toward their goal.</p>   <p><strong>Club Cactus 15-Mizuno- </strong>This squad jumped onto our radar in Vegas with the way they battled in Open. They competed with grit, toughness, and a level of determination that stood out all weekend. From what we saw, they're more than deserving of a bid and clearly capable of competing at a high level.
