is a middle who understands how to disrupt an opponent’s system. Her strongest skill is her hitting, paired with the ability to quickly read where to attack and who to challenge in order to break down first contact. What immediately stands out is her voice. Wright is consistently loud and present, making sure everyone from the court to the stands hears her leadership. She is currently focused on improving her footwork on the slide, a development she believes will elevate her offensive range even further. Her goals this season are centered on skill enhancement and staying mentally strong. While serious about the game, she balances that edge with humor, believing that laughter has a place even in competitive environments.

💡 How would you describe your role on the court, and what do you do to elevate the players around you?
I’m a secret weapon. When we’re in trouble, I step in to deliver kills and help us gain momentum. I stay ready to respond in big moments and do what my team needs to score.
🧠 In high-pressure moments, what’s your mindset and how do you stay composed?
Even if my mind gets a little rattled, I take a deep breath and refocus. I think about where I want to aim and where my teammates should target their hits or serves. Staying strategic keeps me grounded.
💪🏽 What’s something specific you’ve been working to add to your game this season, and why?
I’ve been working on perfecting my slide. It’s a hit I’ve always struggled with, but I’m determined to make it one of my go-to attacks. I want it to be one of those kills that’s hard to read and even harder to defend.
🌟 Off the court, how would your coaches and teammates describe you, and what personal qualities do you bring to a team culture?
They’d probably say I’m bubbly and outgoing. I love talking and connecting with people, whether I start the conversation or they do. I bring laughter and positivity to the team, but I also ask questions that get my teammates thinking. I try to balance fun and focus.
💥 What’s a fun fact about you that you’d want college coaches to know?
If someone’s down, I’ll always try to make them laugh and help them refocus. It’s something I do for myself too. I lift my own mood first, then reset my mindset for the next few plays.

, a 2028 middle blocker and outside hitter for Forza1 North 15 ONES and Etiwanda Varsity Volleyball, finds deep strength in her African-American heritage. For her, it represents the power and perseverance of her ancestors who fought to keep her family’s legacy alive. Being the only player on the court who looks like her has shaped her mindset as an athlete. She plays with a quiet determination, holding herself to a high standard and refusing to let that strength falter.
Trinity credits her cousin for first introducing her to volleyball and her mother for making her continued journey in the sport possible. Her mom’s commitment, from covering costs to driving her to practices and tournaments, has been a steady source of motivation. She also draws inspiration from Team USA’s Jordan Thompson, whose success deepened Trinity’s love for the sport and gave her someone to look up to.
Her advice to younger African-American athletes is simple but powerful: never let anyone box you in or diminish your potential. Trinity has faced questions and doubt, even from adults, about why she continues to play on teams where she stands out. But through eight years in the sport, she has learned to ignore the noise and instead focus on those who see her for who she is and respect the way she plays. Her message is one of resilience, self-worth, and unwavering pride in the journey she’s chosen. ~ Michelle Bamford @coachable247

Trinity made a huge impact right from the start, absolutely crushing it during hitting drills. She has an incredible ability to get above the ball and swing with speed, sending it flying straight down. Her timing is spot on — she knows how to meet the ball at the highest point and works perfectly with her setters to make sure she is available for attacks nearly every play. Besides her bright pink shorts being a standout, she carried the same momentum from hitting drills into team competitions. She was able to rack up some impressive kills, showing everyone what she’s made of.
Forza 1 is definitely lucky to have such a talented player on their 15s team, and we’re all excited to see what she brings during the club season. We know she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with on the court! –Kantessa @lasvegasvbanalyst @prepdignv
