Aniston should be ranked number 11 in our class of 2029. Aniston had a monster game against Skyline to get Metro into the gold bracket. Her blocking shifted the momentum to give Metro a huge upset over Skyline in three sets. In the third set her two kills and two blocks led Metro to a 15-13 win.

One of three players Metro plucked off the Maryland Juniors 14 team that has made a huge difference in the success of the Metro 15 team. She also started for Holy Cross as a frosh finishing first on the team in blocking and second in hitting percentage at .313.

Against Skyline Aniston Williams Aniston Williams 6'0" | MB Holy Cross | 2029 MD was the star of the show for the first set. The Skyline hitters seemed unstoppable with their high verticals raining bombs on the Metro side of the court. Aniston stopped the rain stringing together three consecutive blocks to give the hitters cause for pause for the remainder of the match.

Caroline Conroy Caroline Conroy 6'3" | MB Walt Whitman | 2029 State VA also stopped some hits with timely blocks. Scarlett Netherton Scarlett Netherton 5'11" | OH/RS Annapolis Area Christian School | 2029 State VA smashed some big hits down the line to lead Metro to a 25-23 first set win.

Aniston was a big pick up for Metro from Maryland Juniors. The three amigas from that group, Aniston, Scarlett and Emerson Wolf have all found starting roles to enhance the Metro offense.

She took over for Rowan Johnson playing middle for Holy Cross. A tall task for a frosh. The fact that she finished sixth in the state of Maryland in blocks makes me think she covered her position well.

She also moved from Maryland Juniors to Metro Travel to add some depth to the middle position. This year Metro 15 earned an open bid in the first qualifier they played in, finishing in second place.

At 6’0″ Aniston falls a bit short of the height of the two returning middles but her 10’2″ approach jump exceeds both. In 2024 she was voted top blocker at the Capitol Hill Classic 14 U.
