Coming into this year Charlie had another expectation of filling the back up setter roll to DC Gatorade Player of the Year Caycee Chhum Caycee Chhum Caycee Chhum 5'7" | S Georgetown Day | 2027 State VA . Life issues interfered with Caycee finishing her senior year with Georgetown Day thrusting Charlie Haft Charlie Haft Charlie Haft 5'2" | S/DS/L Georgetown Day | 2027 VA into a starting setter role.

Last year Charlie played in 62 of the 68 sets for Georgetown Day but that time was spent in specialist roles such as serving, defense and the occasional setter role that accumulated 52 assists compared to the 665 assists by Caycee.

At 5’2″ her small stature will restrict her role to a 6/2. However, she did set for the Metro National team last year so the setting skills exist. All she needs now is the opportunity. She is getting that this year, leading the team in service aces and assists. A player that offers versatility with her defensive skills and setting abilities.
