thrives on rhythm and connection within the offense. She shows strong synchronization with her setter, consistently arriving in stride and maintaining a stable platform through contact. Her ability to stay on tempo allows her to operate efficiently, even when the system breaks down.
Dostal’s strength lies in her ability to control the game through placement and variation. She utilizes the full width of the court, attacking with intent rather than urgency. In transition, she remains composed, making smart decisions that sustain offensive flow instead of forcing outcomes. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
Why she’s on a coach’s short list: A composed, system-driven outside who delivers consistent scoring value through tempo, control, and situational awareness.

Are we really surprised to see Dostal near the top of Nebraska’s scoring charts? The high-flying Gretna outside hitter led the Dragons’ scoring onslaught as a freshman, and this year’s club campaign with Premier Nebraska 15 Gold ended with a 15 USA title at GJNC. Still, Dostal has managed to raise the bar further with 4.2 kills per set to open the 2025 campaign. Much of this production came against elite foes at the Bellevue West Invite, adding to Dostal’s greatness among her peers. Look for the Dragons to make another postseason push after last year’s quarterfinal berth.

It’s hard to imagine Dostal could gain any more momentum during this late-season stretch. The Gretna standout had already piled up accolades on the high school stage and was Premier Nebraska 15 Gold’s leading terminator through much of the 2025 season. However, Dostal elevated her game one step further en route to 15 Gold’s championship run in 15 USA. She towered over opposing blockers and delivered innumerable clutch swings during bracket play. Big-time performers rise to the occasion at GJNC, and Dostal has separated herself as a can’t-miss prospect in Nebraska’s Class of 2028.

Here’s another one of those Premier 15 Gold standouts. Dostal was one of the “freshman forces” that brought Gretna High School back to the tournament stage last fall. She has elevated her game again during this year’s club season and was 15 Gold’s featured attacker in several big matches. Some of Dostal’s biggest progress has come in the back row, where she is a strong outlet on the pipe. Expect more of the same dominance this fall.

Dostal will soon be a household name in the ever-competitive Omaha metro. She took command of Gretna’s offense last fall and racked up three kills per set on the outside. It’s easy to hone in on Dostal’s high reach and explosive approach, but we’ve also been impressed with her ball-control skills in the back row. This is another weapon in Premier Nebraska 15 Gold’s arsenal as this upstart group chases qualifier glory this spring.

Gretna had perhaps the greatest freshman influence of any team at the state tournament. Dostal led the Dragons in kills during her debut season and helped push Omaha Skutt Catholic to five sets in the quarterfinals. This high-flying attacker is poised for many more postseason appearances after setting a high bar in Year 1.

Dostal had already captured our attention heading into this fall’s high school season. She carried the banner for Premier Nebraska on the club side and competed at this summer’s Nebraska Freshman Showcase. This rangy outside hitter has started her Gretna career with 3.5 kills per set through 15 sets, putting Dostal halfway to the century mark already. A rigorous Class B schedule will prepare Dostal for the road ahead, which could include some postseason appearances in the near future.
