There is something different when Rachel Bower makes contact with the ball. The six rotation outside hitter played big all tournament. She has the highlight worthy swings where she can drop in an off speed shot or go off the hands. Idaho Crush caught fire and made it to the gold bracket on the final day finishing among the top eight in the country. Bower comes from a long time of volleyball lineage and will be sure to have a busy summer on the camp circuit before her official recruiting journey cannot begin until June 15, 2027.

She's 15 years old and is already developing into a star. I'm from Wisconsin and there were girls from the club I coach for that were so excited to get a picture with her at nationals. The athleticism and physicality is special. Others are drawn to her. Her volleyball ability is special, but she plays the game with great fire and passion where she is going to be one to follow for a long time.

She is next level ready right now. She's different - I mean that in the best way possible. At 6'3, long, big springs, and a really high contact point there is no stopping her in system. In their set one win over Circle City in the semifinals she was a buzz saw. She was hitting line, cross, over the block, everything. She plays one rotation in the backrow and can terminate from right back. As her back court game expands she has to be one of the top prospects in regards to the USA pipeline. Texas has had a quiet 2027 recruiting class so far, but they have some 2028s in state that will be must gets with Floyd and Maya Ogbogu at the top.

What coaches are trying to teach their athletes with footwork in attacking could be taught by an Audrey Utterback highlight video. Does she have the big swings? Of course, but it's what she does out of system, in the backrow, and when things aren't perfect is where she truly shines. She knows how to get her feet to the ball, use a variety of shots, and makes a high IQ play. Aside from her volleyball skill, her on court demeanor is cool, calm, and collected. She is unphased through adversity and is a pure leader on the court.

Violent arm swing. Mesa Jameson for Northern Lights is a right side that has plenty of highlights where she is potentially hurting someone. She hits a real heavy ball. She can go line or hard cross while being able to put up a big block as well. In her match against Kairos on day three, she came up big time and time again. Her physicality is different and it will be fun to see her all around game expand as she gives me Stephanie Samedy vibes who had quite a career at Minnesota.

Baylee Wilson from Coast brings such a solid all around game where she can score from either pin. I was impressed with how well she went from blocking, to being an off block defender and being available to attack. She brings a high IQ to the court and if one shot doesn't score she's not afraid to go right back at it. She also has creativity in how she can score points mixing up her speed and using the block.

Another lefty in this talented 15 Open field is Azaria Ehima of A5. I was able to see her take some big swings in pool play and gold pool play. What was exciting was seeing her take some swings out of the backrow. With how high she can play above the net and the type of shots she can make from the front and backrow, she is an intriguing prospect at the next level. She has high level training and competition to get her to where she wants to go.

This would be the fourth Kubik I have written about, Jensen Kubik of Dynasty 15 Black. Her older sisters are Madi Kubik (Nebraska), Hayden Kubik (Tennessee), and Peyton Kubik of Dynasty 16 Black who recently committed to Pitt. I remember seeing Peyton and Jensen at the club tournaments watching their older sisters knowing they would probably be making a name for themselves one day. Jensen Kubik had such a smooth all around game. I saw her score points, but I was really impressed with her serve receive and middle back defense.

MC Crutcher is going to have to wait almost two years before her official start to recruiting can begin as a 2029. The six rotation outside hitter is so dynamic from anywhere on the court from her passing to shot making skills. However, when she gets the chance to swing big - it's violent. She is a fierce competitor and is one to watch on a national level where she hasn't even had one day of high school.
