So, it’s no surprise that standouts like Pfannenstiel are making a big impression among the Premier 2029s. This do-everything setter has been in our coverage spotlight throughout the season, but her late surge was something to behold. 15 Black soared past regional foes to clinch a 15 National berth, and Pfannenstiel’s consistent command helped engineer the effort. She has ample physicality to lock down the front row and remains a steady attacking threat on the second contact. Pfannenstiel has arguably been 15 Black’s “glue player” after early 2026 action. She brings the setter-opposite versatility that reminds us of so many other game-changing athletes who have come through Premier Nebraska’s gym. Pfannenstiel is a tall, imposing athlete, but she has the foot speed to track down errant passes. She can set around the dial, but 15 Black also can’t pass up Pfannenstiel’s wicked arm swing as a frontcourt attacker. A wealth of high-level experience at Triple Crown has primed Pfannenstiel for the upcoming qualifier grind.

We’re getting a double dose of Premier Nebraska in the 15s age group. Premier Nebraska 15 Black hopes to join its 15 Gold counterparts in the Round of 64, and Pfannenstiel could play a big part in helping the team get there. This is one of the most unique setter-opposites we’ve seen at the 15s level in a while. Pfannenstiel runs a precise offense out of the back row and presents a multi-faceted attacking threat when she enters the frontcourt. We’ve seen 15 Black run her on various crossing patterns to keep opposing blockers guessing. That tremendous range will be on full display among NIT’s diverse list of 15s entries.
