Continue ReadingMarrs was on the scene is Spokane at the Pacific Northwest qualifier, helping her team to a 2nd place finish in the USA Division. During her match up against Hawaiian Style 17 she took over the second set with kills from the seam, monster stuff blocks and some deft touches defensively to better the ball. The Oregon State commit changed the tone of that match with her length and activity, and ultimately finished off the three set win win another kill off a “31” in the seam. Marrs is now the #7 overall prospect in the 2025 rankings.
Highlights
The junior from Bainbridge is a recent Loyola Marymount commitment, and has moved up to the #14 overall player in the rankings. McFadden has increased her physicality as an attacker, showing added power this club season and a consistent willingness to hammer the ball when she runs the slide. Her footwork in transition is efficient, and that same consistent footwork and movement serve her well as a blocker. McFadden has dominated opposing hitters at times this season, recording multiple stuff blocks and causing off-speed shots and errors with her lengthy press.
Highlights
Frye is our 7th ranked middle for the class of 2025 and the #24 player overall in the current class of 2025 rankings. The 6’2″ Frye is part of a talented WVBA 18 Adidas team that has been winning at a high rate this club season. The Shorewood junior is a hard worker, closing the block with effort defensively and getting into her transition routes to be an option or draw blockers away from the pin to balance the offense. Frye will target the deep corners with her swing and has added increased power to her game.
Space Needle Volleyball Foundation 18 Secret has a difference maker in Ligons. The 6’1″ junior from Glacier Peak is uber athletic, with a long reach and excellent hangtime, she is helping SNVF 18 run through opposing squads this season. She has refined her blocking, and is getting incredible press across the net to disrupt even the most explosive and gifted hitters she has faced. As an attacker she has the ability to bounce balls when she has a 1-on-1 block situation. Ligons continues her rise in the rankings for the 2025 class, and is fun to watch!
Highlights
Yount plays with physicality, and the Kennedy Catholic junior is versatile enough to take swings from either pin when she isn’t blasting rockets out of the middle. Playing for Seattle Volleyball Academy 17 Joe, she gets her money’s worth when attacking. SVA likes to run Yount in the seam, and she has the athleticism to time it up and make defenses pay when they close the block. Yount checks in as the #60 overall player for the class of 2025 in the current Prep Dig Washington rankings.
Rohner long 6’1″, and uses that length to stifle opposing hitters at the net and deliver timely kills as on offense for PSVBA 17 Legacy. The long reach of the junior from White River blankets opposing middles and Rohner can snap down swings at hard angles to score. She is currently the #83 overall player in our updated rankings, and continues to grow her game overall. Rohner has a greater feel for finding holes in the block and moving her own approach to get increased angles for her own swings.
The 2025 prospect from Freeman High School has continued to add power to her offensive game, she is thundering the ball on defenders for her CPA 17 Drew team this club season. At 6’1″, Berglund has good length, and solid ball skills from the middle blocker spot. Her quickness and precision getting off the net in transition has given her CPA setters increased opportunities to open up the offense for Berglund and her pin hitters. She is a tough and accurate server, willing to play gritty defense when she in the back row.
Highlights
Hutchinson works the middle for her club team PSVBA 17 Legacy, and was versatile enough to operate as an OH for Bellarmine Prep during the fall high school season. An athletic 5’11”, she has great timing and feet as a blocker, closing quickly on attackers looking to score in the seam with a sound crossover move. Hutchinson is terrific working a variety of routes in front of her setter, she finds solid separation in transition and closes with force to terminate around the block.

Payton MacDonald Payton MacDonald 5'10" | MB Archbishop Murphy | 2025 WA -Seattle Juniors. MacDonald is a Shorewood junior who aggressively patrols the net, throwing down overpasses with a quick first jump using two hands. She can swing and score from the right and middle and deliver terrific value from the service line. McDonald hits a tailing jump float that dives and drops on opposing passers, creating positive out-of-system situations for her Seattle Juniors 17 squad.
Brook Boderick Brook Boderick 5'10" | MB Southridge | 2025 State WA -Strike Force VBC. With this update, Boderick, a 5’10” 2025 from Southridge High School, makes her initial entry into the rankings. The junior has an aggressive approach as a blocker at the net, working relentlessly to close on the pins. Her offensive game is developing; she is willing to search out the deep corner with a hard swing or challenge the edge of the block to score.
