There's a reason she ranked second in digs and third in kills on a 3A state-playoff team as a freshman: She's good at volleyball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The same can be said about [player_tooltip player_id='545946' first='Addison' last='Waldorf'], who I watched at the Iowa Regional Qualifier, won by her 15U team. She'll be one of the state's top all-around setters after handing out 445 assists and coming up with 140 digs as a freshman last season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='763526' first='Myla' last='Rude'] helped underdog Ohana reach the gold bracket at the 16U Iowa Regional qualifier. Her 249 digs for West Des Moines Valley last season were just one behind the team leader. Rude's club teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='729559' first='Halle' last='Gardner'], took a step forward in club following a sophomore season in which registered 191 digs and 25 kills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a freshman for a 4A state-tournament qualifier last season, [player_tooltip player_id='516002' first='Julia' last='Schlarbaum'] produced 94 kills (.205) while playing in 40 matches, starting eight. She's taken a step forward this club season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='533845' first='Taylor' last='Otte'] pounded out 158 kills (.290) and came up with 37.0 blocks as a Williamsburg freshman last season and has played well the times I've scouted her this club campaign.
